CryptoVoucher.io has low fees, but the fee structure is very complex. It's transparent, but it's not easy to compare with other exchanges. The interface is simple, which makes it easy to use for everyone. The limited number of cryptocurrencies is a big disadvantage, but the most popular ones are covered. CryptoVoucher.io is a safe exchange secured by PCI DSS.

KuCoin requires KYC verification that is divided into two categories for traders: KYC1, known as basic verification or KYC2, known as advanced verification. KYC1 follows the same principles as CryptoVoucher in that proof of identity or address is required while KYC2 requests a selfie while holding a handwritten note.

On the other hand, buying crypto on OKX with FIAT currencies requires you to perform identity verification via a third-party operator. This requirement is also in place if you want to make daily crypto withdrawals of more than 10 BTC. However, you don’t need to go through identity verification to deposit or trade crypto on OKX.

Security

Two-factor authentication via SMS adds a layer of security to your account, while identity verification at CryptoVoucher serves to mitigate risks such as money laundering. In addition, CryptoVoucher is secured by PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) which is administered by the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council.

Safe coins storageNot disclosed
Two-factor authenticationYes, you will need to download the Google Authenticator app on your device in order to add your account. This can be done by scanning the QR code found in the security Section of your CryptoVoucher account and then inputting the generated code in order to enable SMS two-factor authentication.
Information securityCompliance with PCI DSS means that CryptoVoucher can reduce the potential of payment card fraud by increasing security controls around cardholder data.
Users need to verify their accounts through identification checks in order to secure transactions and mitigate the risk of money laundering.
Platform securityThe platform doesn’t have an age limit in place but recommends that those under the age of 18 use CryptoVoucher under adult supervision.
Network securityNot disclosed

In comparison, KuCoin measures platform security using comprehensive methods such as security code audits and security architecture review of internally developed systems. A further layer of security is ensured for users through application firewalls, API access controls and device certificate management. User data is also secured by multi-factor security mechanisms and standardized encryption algorithms.

Furthermore, OKX uses extensive security measures centered on application programming interface (API) key protection and has also introduced a third-party whitelist that enables users of the platform to link their IP addresses to working third-party networks. Also, all user data is secured through third-party cloud servers.

Conclusion

CryptoVoucher is recommended to users who are looking for an exchange with relatively low fees and versatile payment method options. There is a limited number of cryptos offered which does make the service less inclusive.

But if you don’t mind this, CryptoVoucher can still be a great option if you’re interested in turning gift cards from Mastercard, Coles, Sephora, Walmart, Visa, Steam Wallet, Amazon and Best Buy into crypto, which is a major differentiating factor and unique selling point (USP) for the exchange. CryptoVoucher could improve its service by offering a live chat service or increasing the number of cryptos listed on its site.

Coinsmart is a Canadian crypto exchange which is most well-known for enabling traders to start buying and selling crypto in minutes. Despite Coinsmart’s great offerings, there are a plethora of fees, including an extortionately high fee for credit and debit card deposits, a low number of cryptos available to both trade and stake, a low number of payment methods that don’t include digital options such as Google Pay or Apple Pay, limited security measures and no phone support. Crypto.com does charge trading and withdrawal fees but there are no deposit fees for crypto assets (regardless of the coin or network) but the exchange has a lowly average rating of 1.6 on Trustpilot with 65% rating 1 star, with many users pointing to a lack of security.

Coinbase is among the world's most popular crypto exchanges and is also available in Canada. If you want a stable, reliable safe crypto exchange Coinbase should be among your top picks.

Lastly, Coinsmart is a relatively new crypto exchange that's regulated in Canada. It lacks some features and the fees sometimes don't make a lot of sense.
