What is LinkSnappy?

LinkSnappy is a multi-host link generator tool that lets you either download files from different cloud storage services in one panel or stream torrent files directly via an embedded video player without downloading. In terms of functionality, the Torrent to Direct Link service uses HTML5 video players but LinkSnappy states on its website that an undisclosed number of video encoding formats won’t stream. LinkSnappy caches files fast, with speeds of 1GB per second. Caching refers to the process of storing files on a local hard drive or network disk. 

You can watch your files hosted on the cloud using LinkSnappy’s embedded video player and your IP address is stored in internal directories and secured from third-parties. However, the private IP address feature isn’t available for those on a one month free trial and you must purchase an Elite subscription in order to access this. In addition, LinkSnappy fetches your files from multiple filehosts and automates the link generation process when integrated with browsers plugins such as jDownloader. There’s also an LSE Credits program whereby if you refer a friend/family member to LinkSnappy and they open an Elite account, you can get $0.1 per referral. 

Plans and pricing

LinkSnappy offers three Elite account plans, including $4.99 for a seven day subscription, $12.99 for a one month subscription, $29.99 for a 90 day subscription and a high $54.99 for a 180 day subscription. However, LinkSnappy doesn’t offer annual subscription plans and the one month free trial doesn’t include 25GB of daily storage for the Torrent to Direct Link service. 

LinkSnappy also offers two promotional bonuses whereby if you purchase a 90 day subscription, you get an extra month for free or if you purchase a 180 day subscription, you get an extra 90 days for free. 

Services

LinkSnappy is most well known for its file storage services and you can also share files through the company’s P2P or FTP file transfer protocols. You can use a VPN when accessing LinkSnappy’s services but Elite account holders get automatic access to a privacy feature that enables them to download files without revealing their IP address. 

LinkSnappy provides a ‘Service Status’ page on its website which shows percentages of how much collective system bandwidth and torrent storage is in use each day. LinkSnappy has also disclosed daily downloading quotas for some cloud storage services.

Purchasing

There’s no option to deposit using a credit or debit card and bank transfer is only available for French, Spanish and German citizens. However, there’s prepaid Paysafe card or crypto deposit method options.

LinkSnappy has limited security measures in place such as Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) data encryption. However, a relatively high percentage of users (42%) rate LinkSnappy with five stars on Trustpilot, which is a high indicator of safety. The most common issues raised are related to account and refund concerns but people praise them for their cloud storage services and high download speeds.

Customer support

LinkSnappy offers an email address and 24/7 live chat but no phone support. 

LinkSnappy uses a ticketing system where users can fill in an online form with a subject, description and optional attachment in order to contact the company. For users who are dealing with emergency account issues, there’s no way to speak with customer service on the phone. However, LinkSnappy offers a detailed FAQs page with 34 different questions on topics ranging from refunds to LSE Credits. 

Conclusion

LinkSnappy is recommended to users who are looking to download files from different cloud storage services in one panel or stream torrent files directly via an embedded video player without downloading. However, high download speeds of 1GB per second are only available for Elite accounts, which can go as high as $54.99 for a 180 day subscription and there’s no option to deposit using credit or debit cards. 

But if you don’t mind this, LinkSnappy can still be a great option if you’re looking for plugins for Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Miphony and jDownloader which allow you to generate automated links through any of these browsers or a privacy feature which lets you download files without revealing your IP address. LinkSnappy could improve its service by offering phone support or the option to deposit using credit or debit cards.
